What we collect

When you request an estimate, we collect your name, email, project answers, ZIP code, planning preferences and the entry page or campaign labels you arrived with. If you separately request contractor contact, we collect a phone number and a record of that request. Technical request information is used for security and abuse prevention.

How it is used and stored

We use this information to produce your estimate, maintain your project request and handle any contact request you make. Our website host, our self-hosted automation service and Google Sheets process or store the information for us. We do not send marketing messages merely because you obtained an estimate.

Contractor requests

An estimate alone does not authorize contractor contact. When coverage is available, we identify the providers associated with your optional request before you submit it. We may receive compensation for referrals. We do not automatically send your estimate details to unnamed contractors.

Retention

The server keeps a delivery queue, with delivered records normally removed after 7 days. Undelivered records remain until resolved. Records in our private Google Sheet are reviewed for deletion after 90 days unless an active request or another applicable reason requires keeping them. Deletion from the Sheet is an operator-managed process.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw an unfulfilled contact request, by emailing us. Tell us the email used for the request. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Rights may vary by location; you can ask us how to exercise applicable choices.

Browser storage and analytics

The estimator keeps the current plan and result in page memory. Closing or reloading the page clears them. We do not install advertising trackers or analytics cookies in this version. Our servers and hosting provider may maintain operational logs. Do not enter sensitive personal information into project fields.

Children and updates

This service is intended for adults planning U.S. home projects. We may update this notice as the service changes and will show the effective date here.
